Here's my first group of items for you to take a look at. Since it is January, notorious for snow, I decided to go with the theme of "Snowmen". The first picture is of a snowman I call "Lil' Snow". He's about 6 inches tall (including his blue and green plaid hat) and about 4 1/2 inches wide at his widest. He has a hand stitched, orange nose and small button eyes. He has one primitive button in the middle of his belly. A primitive tag with his name is attached with a rusty safety pin on his scarf (which matches the hat). A rusty star on his hat finishes him off quite cutely.
The second snowman is much bigger at almost 9 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide. His primitive tag says "Let it snow" and is also attached with a rusty pin. He, too, has button eyes, 2 buttons on his belly, and an orange hand stitched nose. His hat and scarf are a dark red and off white stripe.
The last picture shows 2 little accent pieces. One is a bucket of "snowballs" and the other is a snowman stitchery. The snowballs come in a rusty, 2 inch bucket with a small sign that says "snowballs". A piece of green, plaid homespun fabric is tied around the bucket's handle. The stitchery is 2 5/8 inches wide and 4 1/8 inches tall. The wood itself is painted a country white and then made to look old. The stitchery is on black fabric and attached to the wood with 4 rusty nails. Two rusty jingle bells are attached to the black wire hanger.
All my fabric is hand dyed with my "secret ingredients" to look old, so there may be some spots that are darker than others. Most everything is hand sewn by me. If you are interested in any of my items, please email me at heartwoventreasures@charter.net and I will get back to you.
Thank you very much for looking. I hope you enjoy my heart woven treasures!
